That looks like it was a good call. I've never spent the $ on the black book. I've heard it's a great resource with really in depth scouting reports on these guys. So perhaps in the future I'll give it a look. However I still think that's a pretty bad outlier to have Nemec that low and the majority of scouting services agree with that.Black Book has a history of “ laughable” ratings that came true.
Jack Quinn was 6th on their final list, ahead of Rossi.
That's a good point Chain. I'm sure there will be some adjustments to those rankings as we get closer to the draft. Nemec has been great from the WJC and on, his stock is certainly rising.Their mid-season ranking is also earlier than a lot of the current revisions that have pushed Nemec up the other rankings. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him moving up in their next list (their mid-term was on Dec 26th, before Nemec went on his 1-9-10 tear in Nitra's last 11 games).
This looks right to me. Lambert is a wild card, but if he hits you might have the best player in this draft. I'd consider Jiricek in that spot as well. I thought he had a great WJC before he was hurt and obviously we have a glaring hole at RD long-term.Wright retains, Cooley rises in FCHockey's Midterm ranking for 2022 draft

My first go at FC Hockey draft simulator. Tried copying the link but my phone doesn't like it
This is the generational name draft, Jagger Firkus is just fun to say65th overall by Montreal: Pano Fimis. What a name. No matter how you pronounce it, it just rolls off the tongue.
Yep should be quite a few available when they're up, not to mention some potential good C to pick from late 1st / early 2ndJust did this one myself and didn't even see yours.....lol. It's insane how many good RDs are slipping to the end of the 1st round

Nope not a chance he's going somewhere between 15-20. Saying that if he were to fall, I'd be ecstatic if they picked himWhat is everybodys opinion on my fellow Austrian Kasper? Any chance we get him with the later firsts?
I thought his name said Top Ramen when I first glanced at it haha. Seems interesting, small sample sizes as he's bounced around a bit this year but he's produced everywhere he's gone. I'll have to see if I can find some video footage of him as he hasn't been on my radar from this class.I'm curious about this kid - Topi Rönni at eliteprospects.com

Fun to see Slafkovsky scoring today. He's the youngest player to score an Olympic goal in men's hockey since 1984... a year featuring up-and-comers like Pat LaFontaine.
That's nuts.
Might go well with our other Russian prospects in a few years and they can wait for him.I’ve been on the hype train since the summer. I’ll need to see your ticket before I let you continue to ride it, though.

He’s Slovakian playing in Liiga. So I dunno what happens with his rights if he goes to Russia to join them.
One would assume he stays with TPS in the Liiga.
(Sidebar... just noticed that Aki Berg is part of the TPS training staff as their equipment manager. Heh.)
I assume he would too. I just dunno what would happen with his rights, like whether they’re kept indefinitely or whatever.
And Petteri was someone I was hyped up on in my “idiotic kid” phase (as opposed to my current “idiotic adult” phase).
