What a horrible return for a player of DeBrincat's caliber and age.
He's 24 so just entering his prime and he's already one of the best goal scorers in the league. I understand the cap issues but he seems like the type of core piece you'd retain going into a rebuild. He'll sign a big cap hit but be worth every penny.
I thought trading DeBrincat at all was the wrong move but at least a massive return could justify it but trading a player as good as him at his age for such a soft return seems like a gigantic whiff on the Blackhawks' part.

Based on the Debrincat value, we should be able to get PLD for Lundkvist and a pick. Or Lundkvist and Chytil.
