Of course there's the chance they are missing something obvious, haha,
But Carolina has been getting crazy value picks - Trikozov, Perevalov, Lucius, Grudinin, Pelevin are all guys that fell back in the draft

Nah they are just a team that understands how to draft properly.

Development is another story which will ultimately determine their success, but those guys all have excellent packages to work with.

I would assume if we get Murray retention is happening solely because I would hope we're not that dumb

canes i think have been decent in drafts in general haven't they or am i getting them mixed up with someone else

Dubas needs to be fired of we are relying on Murray to win a damn round considering his last few years

Curious of his story:

Kings just drafted a guy who has played 41 games over the past 3 years
0 last year because of the COVID shut down, but only 2 this year, and a staggering-in-comparison 39 two years ago

They even traded in to make this pick...

Leafs and Wild have spoken a lot. Don't think it's about the 7th rounder, but could be something around Talbot.

Is Talbot Murray really that much better then jack/Kallgren?

At least it's creative and might solve an issue at FW I guess

Dyck was bad too but he was drafted earlier.

Dyck was one of Canada's best players. He deserved to be taken with the hope he plays up on a team that is not a complete tire fire.

Surprised nobody took a swing at Havelid or Milic despite being small.

So I guess Kerfoot and Holl are being dealt prior to July 13th for picks in next years draft. With cap space being so valuable that is an easy fix to free up $5.5M.

Lisowsky is nice value

He was my last top 75 guy.

Only one guy in my top 100 went undrafted: Beau Jelsma.

And only one other guy I had as a clear top 125 guy: Samuel Mayer.

Most of my late round targets went too. Mostly just some hard working smaller guys with some skill upside went undrafted (not much unlike Jelsma TBH). Not surprised there TBH, especially since most were CHLers without much control.
