GDT: 2022 NHL Draft Rounds 2-7

Devils got Vanecek for a 2nd rounder and got a 3rd and 4th with it. Dubas wtf

We need a backup and to move salary. Kerfoot and Holl are prime salary dumps for the Leafs. Nedeljkovic has potential and was coming off a great season 2 years ago with limited action and a good team in front of him. He would do much better in Toronto. And if he doesnt, his $3M is expiring.

better ATM. We have over 10 mil in cap space ATM. I think it's fairly obvious that we'll be upgrading in net. I don't think anyone would would really have a ton of confidence rolling Into the playoffs with Vanecek as our starter would they?

Salary dumps which can get picks.

Id rather just sign one of the many 2nd or 3rd tier guys in UFA than pay assets to get one of the worst starters in the league.

NO but he'd be a good 1B and someone who we could trust for stretches if we needed him

And he was the best backup the year before.

Goalies are falling like flies and those 2nd or 3rd tier guys aren’t guarantees to come nor do they have youth/potential.

5 mil of that is going into a goalie and another 2.5 to resign engval and kase
 
Seems like the Leafs are gonna get Murray for dirt cheap or maybe able to get a deal from Campbell.
 
I could see 38 to Arizone for 43/45 and 67. A lot of volatility they borderline have too many picks to develop

IF they were willing to move a 7th OA pick, I think they'd be willing to do some crazy things. If management really thought Murray could rebound and give us cup pedigree goaltending when we need it, they would be able to bend over Ottawa on this trade.

They could potentially bring in a top 6 forward in the deal and recoup draft picks.
 
That Husso move by Yzerman was tasty. Hoping that’s the number we seal Campbell at…and if it was the same term (ie 3 years)…oh mama.
