I've called Isaac Howard for weeks now.

Sam Rinzel an interesting player as well.

Many to pick from. Hoping for no trade back.

I'm done, dont even care who we take anymore. I'd try to trade back and somehow get Rinzel and Goyette but I guess I should get comfortable with Firkus as our pick

Damn Yurov, Lambert and Trizikov really still available. This draft couldn't of gone any better for us.

Now watch them all go with the next 3 picks lol

The Leafs had Pavel Rotenberg at their development camp a few years back, which was clearly a favour to someone.

Rotenberg's father is the "owner" of Putin's palace on the Black Sea.

In short, I think the Leafs should be able to pull some strings if needed. If a Russian is the BPA, then I say take the risk.

Pickering I liked more than Bischel, but I'm very happy Lambert didn't come out of his mouth.

LOL I am the opposite. Not impressed by Pickering nearly as much. Very raw in many regards, and the only thing that really stands out about him is his size and his skating. He is not overly physical and uses his reach more, but his iffy reads negate a lot of his strengths.

He really struggled at the WJC. Most guys on Canada not named Bedard did, but for a guy with as much hype as he did, you would think he could challenge for top defenseman despite that.

Didn't they play like two games

This guy is currently at the draft.

At 25....don't you at least think about taking a home run swing hoping playing with AM, MM and JT could just be the motivation he needs?

Think there are a couple other home run type picks like a Yurov and Firkus floating around...
