At this point in the draft, why wouldn't the Leafs consider drafting back and picking up another pick.

Either their draft board will say not to or they won't be able to find a trading partner.

It's highly unlikely you lose one of your top 22 guys at 27. Teams lists are very diverse by franchise. There is a chance they make it to 33. Its a gamble, but no one I thought was special enough to pass up on that.

Drop offs vary from person to person here, whether it be 22, 25, 18, whatever, it's entirely subjective.

We'll have to agree to disagree regarding the deal, it's a move I would've made for Nazar without much hesitation.

I liked McGroarty as a fit for us. Will be in the NHL quick, has real top-6 upside. If he can get more explosive he's a top-line guy.

Honestly surprised the Jets made a good pick.

Somewhat surprised Lekkerimaki is dropping though. VAN may love the Swede. Dominated WJC-U18. Solid SHL profile.
