I wanted to watch, because I was expecting this loud and obnoxious guy, but he's quite on the awkward side and very boring. Could not get past the 1st minute or so.

He's not a great speaker. And I don't really hold that against him because not everyone is comfortable with that.

But if he really does have those outrageous takes, he better be good at explaining his stance.

Also, he's terrible even when he types. So he's terrible beyond just speaking.

Anderson/Dvorak(+) and that's about it. Maybe Allen?

I still believe Wright is the pick but Cooley is close 2nd. Imo, it all depends on the Lecavalier call to Wright. Vinnie said it was hard for him in the season before he was drafted first. He called Wright specifically for that reason and he wanted to know how he felt. Given that Wright had a "so-so" year, I'm wondering if the team feels good enough with what he said.

Seems like their 2 guys are Wright and Slafkovsky by now, since Cooley didn’t meet with the habs in the last few days and doesn’t have plan to.

I rather think MSL has a bigger say. They've talked to him and that's probably why we haven't heard of him, because his convos with those prospects is key.

Think Anderson is an impact player? Me neither. However what gives us a little glimmer of hope is the fact that we’re dealing with a GM that while his team was in the bottom 5 in the league, inexplicably traded a 3rd rounder for freaking Travis Hamonic at the deadline.

Dorion can surprise us with his ineptitude.

Anderson is someone they can really use. Because they can use a big power winger other than Tkachuk. So Anderson could be someone Sens would be willing to move a 7th overall pick.

I know they need a 2C but if they take Cooley I’d sure like to see him at 1LW. His speed, playmaking and grit would fit with Suzuki and Caufield and make that line dynamic.

See I disagree, Josh Anderson is an impact player sometimes he can take over games. His problem is he has less of those games than not.

It would be unconventional for him to have too big a say. This pick is for the long term and coach's shelf-life might not go past the ELC of whoever we draft....especially if the player isn't in the NHL next year and the ELC slides.

I honestly think HuGo are keeping their options open right till the end. If Anderson (is unfortunately) is traded to the Sens with pick 26, there's a very good chance they take slaf and then a C at 7. If that trades falls through, I think they take Wright and look to move up with 26 / 33 or / and maybe Dvorak for a winger in the top 15. i think there's lots still on the table AND the fact klingberg isn't signing opens up the petry dallas deal. does Dallas offer C Dellandrea if we eat salary and add picks? Maybe he ends up similar to Wright? lots of moving parts

Logan seems to have the personality of a wet blanket.

Yeah I like the player but every media thing I’ve seen with him I got the impression that it would be unpleasant for him to be under MTL’s media coverage. To the point where I think it’s a knock on him compared to the other two.

Wright does it effortlessly although it’s always the same canned responses (which is fine).

Slaf looks like someone that would thrive under the spotlight, already making jokes and looking like he doesn’t give a f** about media, which would serve him well.

I read only three pages here, supposedly about the draft. Lajoie is dumb, Molson is an idiot, Bergevin is stupid, McCagg is a moron... One thing is sure, this board is populated with frustrated guys constantly needing to throw insults. You have nothing else to talk about? Damn! Wait for the first big mistake by HuGo...

only reason to do a trade with Ottawa is to get a defender like Jiricek (if he falls to 7). Wright plus a stud D like Nemec/Jiri this year would be a HUGE win - I'd be happy to trade all the rest of our picks this year to get Wright/Nemec combo.
or maybe keep 1 second - and pick up Logan Morrison.

Honestly, you're not entirely wrong.
