As a Chargers fan, I just wanted to say sorry.
Hopefully the Giants get better for you all eventually.

But I'm also hoping Chargers go deep in the playoffs this year. Herbert is unreal.
I flew out here for the game… Chargers were in another league than my Giants. Herbert is really impressive. Hate to see what that game would’ve been like with Allen playing.

Anyway, SoFi is a beautiful stadium! I envy y’all… good luck the rest of the season..

I'll end up flying out there for a game too ;) (I'm in Australia)
I will get to SoFi on one of my vacations eventually, been to Qualcomm twice back in the day.
Herbert was just dropping dimes. Really can't believe we got him.

Allen would definitely have made things interesting, our defense was really letting up at the end there. I guess they expected that the win was in the bag. The interception to seal it was nice though.

Speaking about coaches that need to be fired. Someone fire Judge please.

He's not great but right now I'm skeptical the next choice will be better. They really need a change at GM. You can rebuild the lines in the NFL in two seasons. At that point you should have a competent team even if the QB is just a game manager.

As bad as things are with the Jets and Devils, it’s like a damn Hallmark movie compared to Mount Urban melting down

What an absurd attitude to have. For too long, too many football coaches (and coaches in other sports for that matter) have confused being a raging asshole with projecting authority. There is a time and place for being a hardass, but that goes well beyond that.

Meyer will fail in the NFL like Saban did if he can’t adjust. That’s really great coaching though. I never would have thought to yell at a kicker to make a kick. Genius.

He coached and acted as if he was trying to get fired. Now he can go grind in college chicks and get paid for doing nothing.

I'm debating getting this now heavily discounted Urban Meyer Jaguars autographed football for my cousin as a sarcastic gift. He chose Jacksonville in week one of this year's survivor pool to unsexy results, albeit I think he was more choosing against Houston. But I think he partly bought into the Meyer hype.

-------------

With the Chargers moving to LA, last night's game kinda exemplified the difference for me. A loss like that in San Diego and I would have been fuming for the next ten days. Now I just laugh it off. Similarly, big wins don't feel quite as big either.

maybe it did but my guess is that football coaches get away with awful stuff behind the scenes at times.

I mean, I guess physical assault isn't as bad as sexual assault.

Cynicism isnt aimed at you, just in the awfulness of sports in general

Cardinals are 8-18 in games played between week 8 and later under the kliff era so I don’t see that as being a problem

It seems to be going well so far; just need healthy players the rest of the way

Ian Book just single handedly cost me a spot in my fantasy championship. The 8 sacks the Dolphins had, at least two were on him for not throwing the ball away. And the last interception was the straw that broke the camels back. What an absolute joke.

he’s a mid round rookie making his first start on an offense that started an offensive lineman that was signed the day of the game.
