Are you out of your mind? That was a clinic by Canada, won every single puck battle, peppered Urban with 29 shots, scored 2 goals and could have had 6 more. Just a master class of how to take away time and space, closing gaps and playing a 5 man unit. This Canadian team is hands down better than everyone here, and it isn’t close.

I disagree, they were out of sorts and sloppy in the first period, far from them paying their best hockey.

It's the fact that they are head and shoulders above everyone else in this tournament that the period was subpar for me.

Eh fair enough, to each their own. I thought they were clicking right away but I can see what you mean. Scary how good they are they they can put up 30 shots in one period and still not be seen as sharp lol

We have the forwards who are skilled enough to give Canada a tough battle. Sure Canada has 23-1 in 2 games so it Will be difficult. Our second line needs to step up this game, they havent done much actually

You could take the USA NTDP team with the best players off this USA Hlinka team added to it, and Canada would steamroll them. The only country in this age group I think would stand a chance is Russia, and we won’t be seeing that for a while

I know I've mentioned it before but I love those Team U.S.A uniforms, the whites are even better (and this team is using them with blue helmets and not the whites like their junior team does which I think is a nice touch)

They should use them exclusively.
