Prospect Info: 2022 Draft: #36 - Artem Duda, LHD

AHL would be better for him I think. If he can handle the KHL he should be able to handle the AHL.
It would. Depends how badly he wants to retain his NCAA eligibility.

I

Think the problem is that he might not have NCAA eligibility, something I've questioned since it was first announced as it makes no sense that he would.
Yeah. I don't understand all these rules, but the tweet specifically said "NCAA eligibility TBD" so it sounds like they're figuring it out still, that it's not guaranteed. Isn't this about him finding a back up plan for if he's told he isn't anyways?

Duda should go hang with Geekie in Wenatchee.
Lambos is moving on and leaving a big void behind. That team has some major fire power but a lot of holes to fill. Could take another run at a championship.

Interesting is that as far as I understand the USHL is sanctioned by the USA Hockey, which is a member of the IIHF. Therefore I guess the IIHF transfer procedure should be enacted and to pass it Duda shouldn't have an active KHL contract and he hasn't terminated it yet.

Today it was reported that Duda made a request towards CSKA to buy out the remaining part of his KHL contract, but CSKA didn't agree to that.

He probably needs that to play in Maine. This sucks balls. I wonder if he goes back or USHL?
I'm not sure about the NCAA eligibility stuff, but I think that to play in the USHL he would also need to get it terminated.

Do you have a link to the report? Would love to check that out. Thanks!
The link is in Russian and it is a very unofficial telegram channel, but this guy has it right on all or almost on all the matters that are related to CSKA, so I suspect he has some insider connections there:

I feel like development wise, KHL is better experience than NCAA. I wouldn't mind if he went back to complete his contract. Obviously that's not what he wants though. Unfortunate.

Thanks! Can I ask you a quick favor? I’ve been watching a ton of Loko games on the MHL channel to get looks at Simashev, But and Surin. I really want to check out Dynamo Moscow too (I want to watch Chernyshov). But all I can find on the channel are Dynamo Minsk and Dynamo SBP.

Do you know why Dynamo Moscow isn’t there? Or am I missing something? I can’t read in Russian so I’m wondering if maybe there’s a different abbreviation I’m not connecting.

Thanks!
