All part of the strategy to keep contract costs downWith copp on IR, do you expect them to split up the current first line? Because of Kaspers aggressive allround game, they'd probably use him as 2C/3C. That may hurt his production down the stretch.
Kasper is second in rookie points since the beginning of the year. Also first in goals. Not bad for a rookie that brings so much more than just offense.
3 in the last 2. 4 in the last 5.Has a point tonight as well. 4 points in the last 3 now?
3 in the last 2. 4 in the last 5.
I know. I think he's played pretty good all year. He made things happen, and found openings.I just took a look and Kasper is at 15 points since Fester was fired.
It’s almost like ice time, usage and coaching matters!
FWIW, could care less means that you care, to an ambiguous degree. Couldn’t care less means you do not care at all. Can confuse people when you use could when you probably mean couldn’t since the word/contraction are opposites.I could care less about any players single production, if they can keep the team winning.
He isn’t a first year pro by any stretch and what was Dylan Larkin???The idea of a 1st year pro at that age stepping in and giving this kind of impact would have been a pipe dream in Holland era. Everybody is right on track and that is something to be grateful for
*1CIs our 2C finally here?
Kopitar would be a great aspiration for KasperWatching Kasper on the goal yesterday he took a route to cover D as Gus was in deep but realized he could lose himself behind Hertl going to the net, as Debrincat forced Wings possession to Kane. Timed himself perfectly to slither in and give Gus an option to get what looked like a super easy looking goal
He has that poise and timing of an NHL vet. Always has this season honestly. The development has been everything we've asked for, consider he's already very polished defensively and still 20 years old. His ceiling could genuinely be unknown at this point
Underrated skill of his: picks pucks off the boards to create plays. The Kopitars of the world do this kind of stuff and it's why they're so important but usually underappreciated
I'm unsure of Kasper's offensive ceiling vs Johnston as the Stars center had 24 goals and 41 points as a 19 year old in the NHL. Mind you since Dallas is so deep he's played a lot of time on their "3rd line"Kinda reminds me of Wyatt Johnson's progression? Not the same style of player, but if Kasper can ascend to Johnson's level in the next few years, we would all be thrilled.
Manzo Kaspitar. It has a nice Austrian-Slovene ring to it, if I say so myselfKopitar would be a great aspiration for Kasper
