To be fair Larkin got 45 points in his rookie year. His second year that you referred to was a sophomore slump which he followed up with 63 points. I don't see Kasper getting 45 this year, or even 32, and definitely don't see him as a 60+ point player.
I'm fully aware that Larkin got off to a great career by putting up points riding shotgun on Z's line his first year. The point was that he then struggled once asked to center a line as a 20 year old but was able to grow as a player to become the Larkin we love today. People are whining that he's not carrying a line and putting up numbers as a 20 year old in his 2nd season in NA. If he had played NA jr hockey, he would have literally been eligible for the AHL starting this season. Instead, he's treading water in the NHL and getting his feet wet in anticipation of a bigger role next year.

yea, of the 2 of us i'm the troll lol. i'd be willing to conduct a poll and bet a username change plus $100 to the charity of your choice on that one

i don't think you know what gaslighting means

This website considers honesty as trolling, which is hilarious (and also will be the undoing of this website eventually). Fact of the matter is, the team sucked because the players played like shit, and I don't consider calling out players as "trolling". It's not like I was making shit up like you did.

As well as this team is playing, there are still a lot of players that suck at scoring, and Kasper is on that list. The big improvements have come from guys we expected to score to begin with like Ray, DBC, Larkin, and Kane.

Nothing says build up confidence quite like "You don't belong in this league, kid"
Many players have bounced up and down from the AHL or healthy scratched like Shane Wright. If their ego is that fragile, they don't belong in the league. And much like Zadina, the issue here isn't confidence. He needs to rethink his game and make some adjustments. Confidence won't make the puck go in when Kasper shoves it at the goalie.
