Im not a tampa fan, but there must be a reason why Tampa off-loaded everything but Howard, so Tampa must said to Howard, Tourch NCAA this spring and sign after that and get rewarded with some games before playoffs.

I think the same, as we usually don't keep blue chup prospects but deal them to upgrade the roster.
I'm pretty sure they see him as a roster player in the very near future and I can't wait to see him play.
JBB back in January went to see him in person and had huge praises on how his game developed, on both end of the ice

The NCAA tournament selection show is today at 3pm ET on ESPNU and ESPN+. There's not much to the show itself, so don't stress about missing it.

The entire national tournament is on the ESPN+ schedule.

I dont think ive been this hype about a prospect since Drouin. Kid oozes talent and clutch ability. I pray we immediately bring him in and put him in a spot to succeed and not fourth line or popcorn duties

If I had joined a year earlier in 2013, I think you guys would still remember me as the guy who touted Drouin as the son of God until I watched film on Kucherov. I am almost positive my first dozen or more posts were about Kucherov but I wanted to dial it back and not look like an idiot if I was wrong. I'm wrong all the time about stuff but Drouin's the one you guys would still be talking about a dozen years later

When it comes to Howard, I'm just having fun memeing on him like I did Maroon because of Howard's facial hair and draft attire. I'm not seeing or expecting some 80 point indomitable colossus. But I'm always welcome to be surprised

For me just get to your first 10 goals and go from there

I remember right after Kucherov was drafted, a random poster made a thread about how Kucherov was going to be the best player in the NHL and a hall of famer, guaranteed it. I wish I could give proper kudos to that poster

Some good friends of mine are MSU alum. Football season ticket holders but not hockey fans. I had to tell them that State was playing for the Big Ten championship last night. Of course they had never heard of Ike. I was embarrassed for them.

The ECAC is usually seen as a bit of a weaker conference. Cornell doesn't offer either athletic scholarships (or merit based ones, for that matter), so they're at a bit of a disadvantage.

Quinnipiac is like 12th on Pairwise. Cornell is 17th.

As a group, they're a bit lower than the top HE, NCHC, Big 10 teams. The ECAC is still very competitive, and its teams can reach the Frozen Four, sometimes even winning the thing, but it's not really on the same level.

Yale, Brown, RPI, Princeton, Harvard, and Union are all 37th or lower in the Pairwise rankings.

Howard gets compared to Sonny Milano by his doubters but Nikolaj Ehlers by his supporters. Could go either way. He finishes on chances that others create for him. Perfect complementary guy, and he's really started to drive his own offense more this season. We will see.
