They should just give Eichel an extra day to heal. VGK is getting clowned tonight with or without him.

He's playing in AHL
Thanks! I heard that was the latest plan for him, but didn't know that he was back. His going UFA at the end of the season will free up $2.3M in cap, and they'll likely deal Lehner to free up another $5M in cap (although we may get stuck with some retention to deal him).

So will be without Petro, Theo and possibly Eichel in tomorrows game.

Most likely will get ugly tomorrow.

Only chance of winning is going to have to be Thompson standing on his head. Although i do hope he is okay after taking a puck to the face against the Rangers.

The last game Eichel played (that I recall was the Philly game but not 100% sure) he came off the ice and smashed his stick over the boards. It sure seemed like he was playing with a minor LBI and he re-injured it more severely. It's frustrating to go to every home game and see half the bottom six look like they belong in Henderson, and right now we're not better than an Edmonton or Calgary, et al. But our early season streak put us so far ahead and the Pacific is so weak I'd rather hold him out until he's 100%, as we all know the present team won't go far in the playoffs, but this probably won't be the team we're icing come April and May.

No healthy scratches for HSK tonight. Guys have either been called up or ill/injured. Morozov is one of the latter (out day-to-day with illness).
