i think it is 9 games played, not 9 games. So they can take advantage at anytime. Obviously everyone should want him playing though (whether in LA or in the CHL). May make sense for him to watch the first game.

They are probably trying to temper the emotions a bit. First game of the season, first NHL game of your career, that's a LOT for a 19 yr old. Let's get the season started, get a real game or two under your belt from the sidelines, lower the pressure and throw him in.

Correct. They can drag it out. Don't think they will, but makes sense to shelter him a bit vs. a veteran opponent in VGK.

Watch, soak it in, learn, come out blazing soon.

Plus the bottom end of the D roster has age and injury recovery considerations. Guys like Doughty/Roy/Anderson should target 82 games but everyone else should be 60-70 anyway.

I think we know which case this will be haha. Levy will get Tampa/Rangers. I don't have too much of an issue with Leah. But they need to pump the volume up on her mic sometimes.
