Six goals allowed again. Kings goaltending is currently in pole position for Black Jennings infamy.
This is not Kings Hockey. Unrecognizable structure. Dumb penalties. This reminds me of bad Sharks hockey from a few years ago.
Unless this changes immediately I am ready to wish Todd well as he moves on to his next opportunity.

Really cant understand how that idiot GM does not adress our D. We only need a #3 LHD to make things work and this idiot cant make a deal for more than 2 years by now

I’m sorry fellas. Sometimes I say negative shit. But usually I try to be positive. After what I just watched? f*** this bullshit. f*** the coach. The offense can score(they remind me of the Kings in the late 80’s good offense shit goaltending and D). Anyways it’s the same old shit. Can clear the puck, to much traffic in front of the net, because we can move anyone out of the front of the net, because we have no toughness. The goaltending sucks but I think it’s because if the defensive we have. Roy, Walker, and Anderson are ok but they are tweeners not offensive or physical. We have puck movers. Doughty, Clarke, Durzi/Spence. We need f***ing 3 defensive Dmen like we used to. Mitchell, Greene, Regear/Phaneuf. 3 of those four were old and past their time but at least they could play f***ing defense. f***!!!!

I rag on TM a lot and but Blake is as much to blame if not more. He built the team and he gives TM the leash to make these shitty calls.

I think everyone is forgetting this team isn't Stanley Cup contenders and still 1 or 2 years away and expecting to much. Fans need to stick with the plan to find the right pieces and tweak the roster with youth.

Even if you get the exact LHD needed, it doesn't fix the goaltending. If you look at the NHL now, both the starter and backup have to play well. Kings have neither right now. They need a jump start in net. It's time to take a chance with starting Copley. I hate to say but the Kings best goalie right now might be playing with the Ontario Reign!
 
I like Fiala's offense and hustle. but he is yet another undisciplined guy with no sense for defense... that starts to add up when you have Durzi, Kempe and Lemieux (Kempe much better than he was). So that tilts the team a bit on the reckless side. I actually like the style change, but the d-corps needs to be much much better. As someone else just posted, these are not the right players on D at all - it needs a big makeover.. with some physicality and discipline. Edit: edler gone, walker gone, roy gone.. durzi gone.. we have clarke. Durzi could onlly be a 3rd pair limited minutes and PP specialist
