Strongly disagree on that assessment. As a shooter, if you start to slow down and go straight at the goalie, you are making it easier for him to stop you. Fiala had no dekes, nothing to make Markstrom move or open up.

He thought arvi was coming, had to come up with something on the fly once he was alone, Markstrom read it well.
