I knew when the Canucks tied it that it would be fitting for the Kings to get a point to be tied for first but not get the extra point. Bummer but this team has been solid and a joy to watch. Really hoping for a deep playoff run. Anything less will be a major disappointment.

That’s why when people act like the Kings are a much better team than last year because of A,b,c. It’s such bullshit because any honest person will tell you that Fiala makes this team a lot better in every way. Kings have zero creativity without him.

Danault is one of those players that is really good when he is played to his strengths, which is shutting down other teams top lines and killing penalties. But because of poor coaching decisions, can sometimes cause real harm to the team when improperly used.

Danault is not someone who should ever step on the ice in a 3 on 3 situation or play on the PP. The same is true of Iafallo.

gets sent out there in a priority o zone shift with 30 seconds left or whatever too, could just as easily had double shifted kopitar like he always does
