f***ing shoot that Byfield what the f*** man this dude and his fragile confidence shit is getting annoying lol
It would have gotten blocked because we've never played the game c'mon now. LOL. :sarcasm:

Big boys always are the most fragile.

Gotta hope he can find a little bit of tenacity somewhere, because the physical tools are abundant.
For sure. Even why Vilardi was playing like ass you’d see those spurts every now and then but you don’t really see it with him.
He does give those vibes a bit.. like with the panic flip the puck for delay of game last game when he plenty of time and space. He's really deferential - and some of that is playing w guys like Kopi and Kempe.. but id like to see his balls drop nice and low dragging on the ice vs up tight inside his body
For sure, he just needs to throw around the body and get a bit cocky. He really needs to get his head screwed on straight.

The next time someone complains we aren't hard enough on our young players/we're homers for Kings prospects I'm going to point them towards this thread that is 1/2 motherf***ing a guy that has 6 points in his last 7 games and has the top line humming along at a 70%+ GF% as one of the best lines in the league

like it's one thing to say he's still developing and we want more but it's quite another to talk about how much he sucks when the above is going on, get a f***ing grip

I mean between all this and the shittalking/downplaying Roy, I hate playing the "you've clearly never played card" but some people clearly have absolutely zero clue what makes for 'effective' hockey.

I mean, it’s obvious that he is doing a lot of great things for that line, and nobody is taking that away from him.

However, he is a 2nd overall pick in a very good draft, and it’s entirely reasonable to expect a bit more than a complimentary winger from such a valuable piece of draft capital.

I think the guy absolutely has the ability to put it all together eventually, but let’s not think for a second that he isn’t capable of more right now.

Again I agree with the critique and thats why i chipped in, disagree that he's set in this mode, I think being a unicorn and having things come a bit easy up til now is going to take a bit to mature him.. as RJ keeps pointing out, he's doing proper things that give coaches confidence to keep playing him, none of the Zegras bullshit all skill no discipline. I think he'll be fine maybe 60 pts guy in a year or 2.

He’s just frustrated cause he has been first class
On the Byfield train and I was first class on the TS train. I think he is rightfully trying to hold onto any positive sentiment he can about him but I’m more of a straight forward dude. He looks like a mental midget on the ice and has been as impressive as Iafallo except iafallo scores more.

To be honest I’d rather try to tame a lion into a house cat than make a house cat into a lion.

On a side note my 8 year old came home with his 80’s homework assignment. He got 2 musicians Prince and Michael Jackson. Should I send him back with the two best songs from each artist Dirty Diana and darling Nikki?

  • Haha
Reactions: Schrute farms
can't wait for our only goal to be a limp shot from Edler that deflects 9 times, which all but guarantees his spot in the line up next season. since nobody else can score on this guy.
