Kupari is skating well, would like to see him try at 3C soon, if he stops turning it over

Copley is not going to be able to make any mistakes if they expect to grind it out.

The offensive skill drop off without Fiala is being well documented tonight. Guy gets the puck on his twig he can maneuver better in the offensive than anyone else on the Kings.

Which is why no one can actively prove to me that his decision making is good. I absolutely believe a good team can outperform a bad coach. I think the Kings are winning due to talent and not coaching.

Substantiate that. What great decisions?
To be clear, you think that the Kings being one of the very best teams in the entire NHL this calendar year is pure dumb luck, or just in spite of the coaching staff?

I don’t like Todd, and I think the Kings are damned to fail where it matters most with him at the helm, but he has been a great systems coach from the get-go with LA. It’s near-impossible to argue otherwise.

If you wanna have a conversation about inflexibility, poor personnel deployment, and failure to adapt to changes in a series of games, I’m all ears man.

Do you think a talented team can’t outskill bad coaching?

You do realize Fiala only plays on one forward line and only plays like 20 mins per game? Falls on TMac for not adjusting the lines well enough. I have seen some instances where on the offensive attack, a Kings player is trying to be too fancy making an extra pass instead of putting a hard shot on net.

Good point. The hallmark of Todd's system is lots of fancy passing when the ice is terrible.

He has very little awareness of what's happening around him, virtually everything he does with the puck is focused on the few feet on front of him. Great effort, incredible wheels, suspect awareness. Fine for the 4th line and PK, not enough for a more important role yet.

His skill set is unique something the Kings sorely lacked last year and something they cannot replace. I agree do not understand why Arty is not playing makes no sense at all. He has that snipe shot the now is needed

Do you think one of the best players on planet earth in Mackinnon was frustrated about individual skill of the roster on Thursday?

We can keep asking questions for a while here man.
