This is what I mean when the team will play better and be more engaged when their goalie doesn’t suck. It’s much more easier to try when you believe you have a chance to win. Quick is just ECHL level.

If i was the Toddfather, I would remind the team that the Canes beat Boston the other night and anything can happen.

I would then flex and call a timeout at the first stoppage of play, for shock and awe. Let them know that the Toddfather is unpredictable

They gave Brent Burns of all people all the ice in the world to score a goal. That's not playing well. They turned it around, but they weren't at the time I made that comment. But I'm sure you're going to say it was actually a highly skilled play and there just wasn't anything the Kings could do and in fact it was actually a great play by the Kings and the goal was just bad luck.
