I thought the Kings would be the ones already on break.

One of the reasons we're doing as well as we are this year is because of our depth. Can you imagine if we had Moore, Kaliyev, and Vilardi? That could be an entire top six line. And we have essentially $10 million in dead cap space between Quick, Petersen, and Phaneuf's buyout. Sheesh.

This is what I mean when the team will play better and be more engaged when their goalie doesn’t suck. It’s much more easier to try when you believe you have a chance to win. Quick is just ECHL level.
