Door #2. Cal is doing OK in Ontario, I just dont think the team believes in him and will overcompensate.. he prob needs to go to another organization to restart his career.

Stop using the teams play in front of him as an excuse. There are a lot of goalies playing on worse teams than the Kings, who are putting up far better numbers than Quick. Statistically, Quick is one of the worst goalies in the NHL. Cal was looking like trash, so they sent him to the Reign to work on his game. Quick should be no different.

TBL is impressive right now, expected that third period to be pretty ugly given the b2b but it wasn't so bad. Better team won, but what an unlikable team, jesus christ. Good on QB for cleaning Hedman out.

Games like this are why we needed points vs. Nashville, though, if not vs. dal and njd. I don't expect them to do much vs. Carolina, Canes just completely have our number it feels like.

Hopefully QB is okay, means we finally got out of Tampa without an injury, even though they sure tried.

Bring Cal back up but please no trading for a goaltender the Kings history in that department has been abysmal...1967 Kings draft 37 year old Terry Sawchuk instead of 22 year old Bernie Parent...Traded a first rounder for Bob Janecyk and Craig Redmond...traded a first rounder for Ron Grahame...bring back Gary Laskoski or Markus Mattsson

That's a big payout for Petersen they have to give him another chance. Firstly they need a top 2 D-man to go with the rest of our group,fortunately or unfortunately one or two of our D-men will have to go the other way

Oh bullshit. Those stats don't tell the story of the game at all and how it happened. They sure dont show the 3rd goal going off Walkers stick right to Perry. Show me the last game they scored more than 2 goals for him and he won? Then do the same for Copley. I don't care what graphic you put up, you aint winning many games scoring 2 or less.

Its a sunk cost. That guy is toast. You get 1M of relief with him in the A. Next season the buyout is not that atrocious... its real shame he turned to shit. I wonder the hell is wrong with him.

This was the sure loss everyone expected, don't care who was in net. Tampa looked rested and on thier game from the start. I agree about being unlikable, they are the Vegas of the east as far a hate goes. Just a bunch of dirty punks.

If you have to go to bat for him every time he plays maybe he just is playing badly regardless of the rest of the team. Sure plays by Walker Edler and Durzi didnt do him any favors.
But that Perry goal was the only one that wasnt stoppable. The first couple came at a time that took wind out of the teams sail. That affects how the team plays the rest of the game and scoring more than 2 on Tampa on a back to back aint easy.
I dont know why you either cant admit Quick is playing badly? Or do you really think he looked good out there tonight?

Frankly I hope Quick, Cal, and Copley are all gone next season. We seriously need a full on rebuild in goal because right now we have nothing in the organization.

Go after Varlamov and Romanov for some of our abundance of young skilled forwards NYI so desperately desires.

Isn't Varlamov like 35! And maybe he's a coc-head so no. Liked Romanov in Montreal but in NY he has looked like shit the games I've watched so no

If they buy Petersen out, the hit next year is more than if they kept him on the roster.

I was relying on another poster's analysis that said this year the buyout is insane, and next season is tollerable. I personally dont know how to calculate it.. will take pointers how
