This time up, he carrying the puck better, fewer yips in his game.. so I think he should be able to build some confidence and just take it to the hole at some point

this game definitely seems like a microcosm of the love/hate thing with him

I could watch Heiskanen skate all day, dude is just so smooth and underrated. His ability to get shots thru is just phenomenal, wish Drew ever picked that up.

As long as they don't utterly collapse in the third, I'm very satisfied with tonight's game regardless of outcome.

They've battled hard, played tight defense without abandoning offense, checked hard, not backed down. Shown a lot of positives in a playoff-style game vs. a good opponent.

While I hate how they play loose and sloppy when the play the lower teams in the standings, games like this show they can play with anyone if they're consistently dedicated.

I still maintain that the biggest problem facing the roster makeup is the Roy-Durzi pair.

It’s giving me some serious Martinez/Muzzin vibes. It won’t bode well for a playoff round.

He is not going anywhere, especially clicking with Kopi and Kempe. If they cool off, 3c him. Literally watching his game break out in slow motion but any build is a plus.
