He ain't coaching anything that's not an original 6 team, and wouldn't touch this dog. Right now even money says either the Blues or Kings will replace their coach first.

I don't even know who our assistant coaches are right now to fill in.

Trotz is a rabbit and the carrot he wants is a GM transition, its been said. Any O6 gonna give him that? Maybe Montreal?
 
I can't think of a more embarrassing Kings team I've watched - when you're supposed to be bad and are bad, that's life. Not this giving up shit. Gutless, heartless, whatever less you can think of. Need some actual leaders in the room, need actual coaches too of course

Given the above, it is an actual big disincentive for Blake to hire Trotz, my top choice. It would have to come from top level management above Blake and then when they get involved Blake would most likely be dismissed, or he would have to agree to it, knowing he was a dead GM walking.
 
Saw a tweet where they stated Kings record first 32 games last year was 15-12-5 same as this year's first 32 games. Todd's not going anywhere if that's the case.

Yup but they could be in trouble if they do not come on and win, qualify for the playoffs in the new year. If the keep losing in similar fashion they might as well pack their bags.

At this point last season half the team was injured.. so not sure that helps his case.
We also lost some size and speed in AA, Maatta and a healthy Edler (shouldn’t have been resigned) that made us even softer
