I've noticed two issues with this Kings team that I haven't seen in years past:
1. There are a lot of cases in which no one knows who is supposed to be going for the puck, and people seem really tentative.
2. When a King has the puck along the boards in the defensive zone, it used to be imperative to get the puck out of the zone as quickly as possible. Kings seem to be holding onto that puck a lot longer, sometimes even just pushing the puck up against the boards to start a 50/50 puck battle, which the Kings often lose. This results in a lot of extended zone time.
