Well, Vilardi has definitely been the best forward on the team so far this season.

Moore was the teams best player from January until the end of the year. He has a high end motor and a skill set that could make him valuable on all 4 lines.

Arvidsson won't be re-signed and Kopitar is 50/50 to retire than sign an extension. Money isn't going to be an issue. If Vilardi and Kaliyev keep trending up, Fiala and Kempe are likely in the top 6 mix with those two while Moore and Iafallo round out the top 9 wing spots. Nobody needs to leave.

Remember he was ranked very high in his draft class and probably dropped due to skating issues which no longer appear to be a problem.

That would be the correct play to make if Kopi wasn’t already there.
Doughty just spun with Kopi now headed to Ek but Mikey chases and leaves the crease open. As you said, Ek wasn’t going to be a threats from below the goal line but he sucked in two pivotal players.

Aside from making a few nice plays in the offensive zone, and being good on face offs, Kopitar isn't doing much.

He's on pace for 23:21 TOI

He should be playing 16-18min per night.
