Kings should stop using Yanetti because he has no idea what he’s doing. They should in fact use WorldStarHipHop for scouting so we can at least get some guys who are willing to fight

I feel like the Kings need a hard-ass coach right now. I remember tons of penguins players saying when Sullivan came in and had that echoing scream and took total control of the team that it snapped them out of their funk. However, only 2 games in so I don't think the sky is falling yet, but if they continue playing like this I could see TM being under pressure. This next road trip will be very important as to the outlook on the rest of the season.
It's never happening with TM. He isn't the guy to push a team over the edge. Too nice. Too player friendly. Unfortunately, Blake wants a coach like he preferred when he was old as shit like 11, 32 and 8.

Not counting the Lemieux fight or the scuffle at the end, but you’re not going to win a lot of games with having 22 penalty minutes in 2 games.

Team needs to figure it out and keep out of the damn box. It throws off all momentum and kills the line rotation.

Quick was barking at all 3 of the guys who jumped Valardi. He wanted a piece of soucy for jumping in . Jones was like, "I don't want to fight you bro"

I love Quick. It was fake tough guy shit which, admit it, has been his entire deal when it comes to actually fighting.

I would have loved him to just run head first into that pile but he didn't. Team needed it bad.

This franchise has had a major leadership hole since 2015. Repeated incidents of not sticking up for teammates. Winning teams don't have that. Nothing changes until it is fixed. Toughness isn't dressing MacDermid: it's f***ing caring about your teammates and carrying an attitude.

What's extra infuriating is they have plenty of 'gritty' enough guys, and we saw it in the playoffs too. I actually--when they're invested--admire how Kempe, Fiala, Moore, Danault, Lizotte, Anderson...I mean I can go on, they're all non-fighters, but they were as take-no-shit with a veteran team in Edmonton as I would have possibly wanted. I thought that was growth. Now we're right back to taking soft ozone penalties and folding over...take aggressive penalties sticking up for your teammates and I'm a happy camper.

I hated the trade from the start.

I really appreciate all the awesome access Jesse provided us with all summer, but I mentioned at the time that there were some touches of satisfaction in moments in those interviews that were a little off-putting. The Fiala trade is part of that, not just pride in what they achieved last year, but a little bit more than confidence in their plan.

They just weren't ready to go for it. They aren't good enough. They have to recognize that they overachieved last year, they have started this year with the hubris of a team that thinks they are better than they are.

Honestly, I don't think this brain trust has ever really read the terrain correctly. So many decisions made to latch on to and sustain former glories instead of trusting their ability to create one of their own.

The Kings now really aren't that different from a Hollywood studio turning out the same sequel every year. Sort of a The Slow and Laborious.

I think you should just calm down and listen to some soothing music. I have a playlist if you'd like.

If it's yacht rock, I'm all in!

Next game, waive walker, let him find his conditioning and game. call up Moverare. Send Roy to TM's office for 'correcting' again. Let the kids run the offense.

Two games in and Byfield with ZERO pp time and under 13 minutes.

Top 3 lines really need to be at more of a 15-18 minute mark...stop leaving Byfield out of that. I don't mind so much rotating Grundstrom and Kaliyev periodically.

We're about to go on the road so you're not going to be able to 'hide' anyone anyway.

God Saturday is going to be an unmitigated blood bath unless these guys can remember how hard they need to work.

What's he suppose to do, throw the ref aside and jump in? Quick crossed all the way into the zone before the ref saw him and stopped him. The ref is holding him back. This wasn't some fake shit.

Shoulda made a beeline for the pile and made the ref do somethign frankly, they were all too happy to just sit back and let three Kraken tee off on a downed Vilardi, Quick was totally right.

They need to stop taking a million penalties a game to get everybody minutes and the lines flowing. 22 in 2 games won’t get anybody ice time but the PKers.

But why Byfield isn’t on the PP is crazy, Moore or Iaffalo are redundant on the PP. Danault’s only good point is to win a faceoff.

Chychrun is trending on Twitter just as the Kings need for a LHD is glaring like a supernova. Can't be a a simple coincidence.

Love you and hated refuting #32s toughness but, look, I'm a Yacht enthusiast and these sweet bastards aren't on the boat.

Give me Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, Loggins, Christopher Cross, George Benson or give me a row boat.

Blasphemy!

I'm going to send you my Hall and Oats playlist on spotify and you will love me for it!

Seriously not sure why he isn't at least on the second unit. Player development at it's best.

Hope Danault gets back on track. He was a monster last season. These last 2 games have been his worst in a Kings sweater. Many of the posters on here believed the team could regress this year.
The reality of them overachieving last season and doubling down by bringing in Fiala and bringing back all the guys like Lizotte and Edler maxing out the cap would be a tough pill to swallow. It means not good enough to win and not bad enough for the lottery for the next 2-4 years.
Big road trip coming up. They play better away not against pacific division teams anyway…
