Not a whole lot of anything that period. Controlled possession, but nothing really dangerous
 
Not a good period to have the wife watch when you are trying to convince her to go to a few games next week. At least there was a dance, or fight. Hope it picks up.

Not the biggest Durzi fan but he needs to replace DD on PP1.

Looked more enthusiastic than they did vs. Dallas that's for sure.

Everyone but Kopitar anyway. Looks like he needs more rest. And Vilardi looks a little softer, maybe too many minutes the other night + travel/schedule?

The longer this game goes on without a Kings goal...

My wife hates hockey and since I’m a kings fan she tells me the ducks are better out of spite.

When I said the kings are playing tonight she said “what a waste of a good Thursday night”

They keep themselves on the perimeter. It's an excellent strategy for opposing penalty kills to cover the other three players and let them play catch back and forth in the lowest-danger areas of the offensive zone.

That Hawks goalie is a big boy that moves well. Gonna have to get a few more shots.

Liking the way Kupari plays. Want to see that kid get a few more minutes. Big boy that skates and plays a good two way game.

Need to get Byfield healthy. Kid has missed so much time lately.

Kupari looked really good, and not just on the defensive side, that shift where he took control was a nice step in his development. Need to see more of that and if he can do that consistently, look out.

Id like to keep Byfield up but if I had to choose between him and Kupari id take RK.. maybe they'll waive JAD

I am not a big JAD fan. Nothing wrong with him, just a bit vanilla and we have a lot of that. I would hate to waive the kid as I think he could carve out a decent career kind of like Amadio or Shore. I just think we have better options now.
