Yup makes no sense why he decided to bomb a winning recipe from last game. The kings are very talented and are only held back by Todd’s ineptitude

I think we look all right for our third game in four nights. The Stars are a good team and were bound to come out swinging. Cal looks solid, and I think our counterattack can crack Wedgewood if we weather the storm. We just need to stay out of the box.

Wedgewood gave up 4 goals on 7 shots in his last game. He's a career AHL and of course he's on fire tonight. 8 SOG isn't making his night very tough.

Meh, not condemning benching Lemieux or going with 7D. Clarke's earned playing time, Lemieux's played poorly. If young players are going to get scratched for sub-par play, then journeymen and vets need to be scratched, too.

Ugly goal from Cal. I know it was a good scoring opportunity and it was defended as well as can be expected when on the PK, but he misread it; you can tell by the way he was sliding in the opposite direction from where the puck went in.

Lemieux and in general the 4th line did everything they could to keep the Blue in the game. They were sloppy, tried to run and gun like they're the top line, drop passes, turnovers. He was the worst of the lot. He earned it.

well according to the last game the kings should have 4.5 goals by now. Instead we’ve got dick.

When the lines aren't working do a shuffle I always say. Hate losing and there is no reason to lie down

Just an unusual decision to tax 11 forwards on a back to back, who knows, maybe JAD or Lemieux are banged up or sick.

Excellent period for Peterson, Stars exploiting the massive gap between the forwards and defensemen, but the backtracking has been inspired despite so much of the game seeing the forwards chasing.

Expect more dump and chase to get the forecheck going in the 2nd.
