Makes me wonder if the front office sees something that’s causing him to struggle that they want to work with him directly on rather than letting his confidence deteriorate by continuing to struggle in the CHL
You might be correct about him struggling (source needed), but I didn't think he was struggling. He's improved since the start of the season. I've been tracking our prospects throughout the season. The last games Swift Current played were Dec 17th, Dec 30th, and Dec 31st. Gage played Dec 17th. On Dec 30th, Anaheim signed and assigned him to San Diego, which means he couldn't play in the last two games for the Broncos.

I don't see a confidence issue. Alexander has posted above .900 for the Winnipeg Ice org (0.917 two seasons ago and 0.911 last season). Swift Current didn't make the playoff cut last year, but this season they are in 8th today with as many as 4 games in-hand for some teams ahead of them. Alexander is a big reason for that.
Again, you might be correct about struggling, but we can send our goalie coach out there. The Broncos are in a better situation than the Ducks. There's gotta be some other reason if the team knew Stolarz was going to return soon to the lineup.
