I like them. It looks like a nod to the old Sharks Koho Revolutions. These look awful.
I love how he took the trim pattern from the jerseys and incorporated it into the gloves and pads.
Can we kick this off? Looks like Merzlikins already got his new equipment.
I also think they did a solid job of working in the Brian's B-star logo into the design. This is how you use a team logo to make good pads.. unlike the other atrocities where the goalies legs need to be perfectly together to show the art. Pointless and ugly.

Ron Hextall was 6’4 and wore 34” pad. Now 6’2 goalies are wearing like 36+6. It’s crazy. Goalies these days can literally go in to a butterfly from post to post and cover the whole goal line with their pads. Baffles the mind how as much as the position has changed and trading and styles that they are still getting lit up like skinny pad 80’s stand up goalies.NHL should chop off another 5 inches from the top.
There is no 6'2" goalie that would get 36+6 pads approved by Kay Whitmore per the current rules.Ron Hextall was 6’4 and wore 34” pad. Now 6’2 goalies are wearing like 36+6. It’s crazy.
