I mean he played almost all the covid shortened season (suspended after the first game for I cant remember how many games) and then played 39+ games in a row (counting wjc and Belleville) last year. Yes he got hurt near the end of the season and probably shouldnt have come back for Brandons playoffs and then got hurt again during the summer wjc but I wouldn't call him necessarily injury prone and hes still played a decent amount of hockey over the last two years. 60 regular season games over 2 years plus playoffs, wjc, and belleville games is not terrible and shouldnt prohibitively effect his development.

Though, same as every player in the organization i just hope he isnt beeing rushed back. I don't want a Pinto situation.
Well first, I never mentioned him being injury prone but 2nd your numbers are off.

In 21/22 He played 39 (not in a row) of 68 games for Brandon and there was no WJC that Winter as they pushed it to this past Summer (where he was injured).

He wasn't fully recovered for training camp and joined towards then end but was then was promptly injured in Belleville.

He needs a nice long stretch of being able to practice and play without injury to get his game going and establish himself as a legit NHL prospect for next season. I have all the faith in him but it shouldn't be surprising he needs to stay healthy to train/play/improve.

Roster Notes: for tonight's game against Laval

There’s more mixed news on the injury front for Belleville. The good news is that forward Ridly Grieg is expected to return to the lineup tonight and goaltender Mads Søgaard should start either Friday in Milwaukee, or Saturday in Rockford. However, veteran forward Jayce Hawryluk (who has two goals and three assists over his first five games) has been sidelined for four-to-six weeks with a wrist injury, while fellow forwards Cedric Pare (one-to-two weeks, upper body) and Phil Daoust (two-to-four weeks, shoulder) will miss time as well, as will goaltender Antoine Bibeau (one-to-two weeks, groin). With that in mind, the Senators have called up a pair of forwards in former ECHL Rookie of the Year Matthew Boucher from the Iowa Heartlanders (ECHL) and former NCAA Conference Student Athlete of the Year Kyle Betts from the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL). Kevin Mandolese will start in goal for Belleville, with the Senators also expected to bring Logan Flodell on this three-game road trip.
