Dillon Brooks is not a shitty player dude is awesome. One of the best games I have ever attended was this one when him and Pritchard took down Lonzo Ball and he hit a game winner and there was a court rush.

I don't think he was going for the nuts intentionally.

Well of course you don't think that because you're wrong about everything all the time. I mean, you are literally the only person on the planet who doesn't think that. You are also the only person on the planet who things he is "awesome."

Who besides bananaland Lakers even attempts to make that move?

What contending team wants to just lit a bomb and throw it into their locker room?

He's for sure trying to get to LA after learning Brooklyn isn't going to pay him. I'd say the Nets should call his bluff but it's Kyrie so who knows what he's going to do.

This is the thing I've disliked about basketball so much. The players have a bit too much power and run those teams. You have a team who is 4th in the conference and their star player is demanding a trade? You see it all the time in the NBA. Theres no team identity aside from maybe Steph/Klay and Golden State in the current NBA, its more personalities than anything. This is something I worry about when it comes to Tatum as well.

Frankercee hit the nail on the head. The Nba paid a price for making Magic, Bird, and especially Jordan, bigger than the game. What you see now is the results of that in full flower. The players run the league much to the league's detriment. Tatum isn't Kyrie but he does strike me as someone who places individual over team. I'm probably hard on Tatum because he does play hurt, and he does try and play team basketball.

nope..... the NBA HAS ZERO comparison to any other pro sport..... name the last malcontent like Kyrie that wants out.... mid season.... he did it here, Cleveland and Brooklyn.... name one NHL Player that was granted a trade at the TDL, AFTER REQUESTING One not after the season

How quickly you forget James Harden. Kobe Pierce etc, etc, etc. I did not make a comparison to the NHL. However, Andy Moog and others have gone to Olympic teams and/or sat out to force an in-season trade.

nope.... totally disagree..... Kobe was traded before he was even drafted from a previous trade.... Harden was never coming here

With due respect, you have an annoying habit of putting words in people's mouths and not answering the question or main idea posed to you. Kobe was all but gone to Dallas after he demanded a trade from the Lakers. I did not make anything contingent on coming here. kobe bryant demanded trade - Search. Kobe Bryant confirms he wanted trade in 2007 to the Chicago Bulls

For the record, not that anyone cares; I have said the Celtics need a big, tall, scoring, and defensive center, asking for a lot, but they need an insurance center for RW III, IMO. I could have added Horford along with RW.

I have also said I don't want Kemba Walker wearing the green again.

Now, I don't want Kyrie Irving anywhere near the Celtics team, except on the losing opponent team.

Go Celtics
