Williams isn't worth it. Run him off the three and match him against a quicker player, and he is a detriment.
It doesn't matter if he's worth 16 million a year or not, you either pay him that or he's gone and his replacement is a league minimum player or second round pick. Elite shooting, not needing the ball in his hands to be effective on offense and being able to switch on defense is the kind of role player every contender needs.

Contract would help with matching salary in future trades too. Also the cap is gonna surge, $16 mill is gonna be pocket change. Best players association in sports.

Side note these refs are atrocious

Grant Williams is likely moving on, Bernie.... the window to extend him expired or he chose not to extend it

They can still negotiate after the season and match any deal he signs with another team if they still can't agree on the numbers once free agency begins, he's a restricted free agent. Rookie extension deadline was all that was missed and it doesn't seem like they were far apart from what reporters were saying at the time.

DOUBTFUL Brad is keeping Grant Williams after the season.....Bernie...... you're not extending the rookie contract..... that window is closed now if you've moved past the negotiation stage.... doesn't matter the terms and has ZERO to do w/ Horford's extension..... different contract and time in league

Can't say I'm a fan of these home/home series against the same team. Is this new? I only see 1 more at home for Boston and 2 on the road on the schedule.

likely no Brogdon or Al tonight as C's visit the Raptors since this is B2B..... Marcus Smart returns

Maine falls to College Park 127-106; but gets another shot at the Skyhawks tomorrow night before coming home
