I'm talking more about the continued support of antisemites.

You know... Celts wont trade him

Tatum and Brown are like untouchables it looks like

It's not the NBAPA rep aspect that bothers me. Gotta do your job, even when it sucks. But you can't just let the league impose unfair rules against bad guys cause thenn they can do it to guys who don't deserve it. It's this kind of shit that has me upset:

---“I don’t believe Kyrie Irving is antisemitic."

Kyrie was suspended after he refused to answer a yes or no question about whether he has antisemitic feelings.

---"There is an interesting distinction between what somebody says verbally and what somebody posts as a link on a platform with no description behind it."

"He made a mistake. He posted something."

The same type of mealy-mouthed dishonest bullshit he offered up about Kanye West until everyone told Jaylen how bad that looked.

I mean he's just doing his job. I get why you're upset about his comments, but he's one of the top guys in the NBAPA, what are you expecting him to realistically say? "Yeah kyrie is a f***ing antisemitic dickhead and we all know it"

It's unfortunately the shitty part of being on a PA or union like that, defending the clueless shitheads like Kyrie, especially ones that bring it on themselves like he does.

I also don't understand why the PA is up in arms about the terms of his reinstatement, seem pretty tame to me.

You can acknowledge what he did, why it was so bad, and that you personally found his promotion of the movie and his subsequent actions offensive and still say, "But that doesn't mean the league has the right to unilaterally impose new rules."

Also, might be more charitable had we not just gone through something similar with him and Kanye West.

Fair. I don't think any player would've said that though tbh, not that that makes it right. Just the culture of league as a whole.

The Kanye thing was definitely a huge whiff on his part.

Brown is clearly going above his job requirements to be effusive in his defense of Kyrie. And that's because they're friends. We know this. Defending your friends and condemning antisemitism is a hard needle to thread when you surround yourself with people like Kyrie and Kanye.

They should just lock Kyrie Irving and Enes Kanter in a room together until they annoy each other so much that they agree to shut up and play basketball.
