So it's like faceoffs, yeah? It matters...sort of....Interesting that the first and last teams both won the Cup recently. What would also be relevant to know is how many picks each team had and what percentage of their picks made the show. Rebuilding teams would usually have more picks, and if done right, would lead to more success.
I was curious…should not have looked.

You are right, they have. Gms played was only Coyote games. Right again, that would be a better indicator. There could be teams ahead of the Coyotes with 5 more guys that only played one game for example. It’s still remarkable what the Lightning and those top teams were able to do, 3000+ games after the second round is legit.I don't think the games have to be played by the franchise that drafted them. Garland, Hill, Bunting, and maybe others have played more.
But as I mentioned earlier, number of picks obviously matters. Total number of games played should be divided by total picks to give you games played per pick, a more relevant draft effectiveness/efficiency number.
I don't want to do the research to find out though.![]()
Let’s just all hope that this new crop of prospects fares better.. 2017 in particular is pretty painful
Ahh, I forgot 3rd rounded McKenzie Entwistle from that draft. He has 100+ gms with Chicago. I thought Tyler Steenbergen might hit after a 100 point season and playing on Canada’s WJC team. He’s still playing in Finland.Let’s just all hope that this new crop of prospects fares better.. 2017 in particular is pretty painful

Jérémy Langlois’ playmaking touch is better than it was last year and, because of it, he’s picking up even points. He attracts more defenders on himself before moving the puck and has more elaborate ideas, especially on the powerplay.
The forecheck can still force him into poor decisions, however, and it’s hard to distinguish his development curve from an average, top QMJHL defenceman. Langlois is dominant at this level; he will certainly help the Québec Remparts win playoff rounds, but the lack of standout attributes in his game will hurt him at higher levels. As he won’t always be the default powerplay quarterback, he will have to work to solidify his shutdown game and becomes more efficient with the puck.
What do they say about this first bullet point?
It’s a free one. Edit- ah, thought you meant the one I posted.

^ I want to subscribe to EP but they make me angry about as often as they inform me. It’s like 50/50 love/hate and I can’t bring myself to give them money. Haha.
Szuber makes Germany’s U-25 team. They will be playing friendlies against Slovakia through Friday.
Thanks @Maverick41 From the video I saw, looks like he was playing RHD. He skates really well for a big man. If you see how he plays today, pls let us know.He played fairly well in the first game and scored on his shootout attempt (something he is really good at).
Overall it was not a great game to watch, but Szuber was mostly solid, though I had hoped for a little more offense and a little more initiative from him, but his focus appeared to be more on defense, which is understandable as he was paired with Mario Zimmermann who is an offensive dman.
