I do too. I forget, does that mean he can't go back to Minnesota next season and would have to go to Tucson instead if he doesn't make the cut?
Correct. His college days would be over.

I think he goes back for a sophomore season. Bill should be patient.

I did too until recently. He's heating up and if this continues he might get a contract at the end of the season. But let's not forget who our GM is. I'd prefer he cook in Minnesota or Tucson next season, especially if we land one of the big 3 next summer. I hate rushing prospects to the NHL.

I'm watching the Chicago game last night and listening to Patrick Sharp talk about how he improved each time after being sent down. He spent his first three seasons splitting time between the AHL/NHL. It's reassuring to hear stories like that and then have BA praise the job Soda is doing in Tucson. Some players take longer to gel. Us fans need more patience. 😁

6 goals in 13 games with his new KHL team. That's pretty darn impressive.

Chibrikov and Svechkov were the highest rated Russian F's from that draft and their producing less in the VHL.

Poltapov was the 2nd highest drafted Russian F from that draft after Svechkov and he's producing less in three times the number of KHL games.

This is VERY encouraging.

Hopefully he comes over in the summer. That pick was looking pretty rough.
