He’s figuring it out. He’s on a deep team with new line-mates including Tyson Nash’s kid who seems to have inherited his NHL hands. Got to remember one puck and Winnipeg is a very deep skilled team including Savoie and Benson who are more speedy flashy guys who get prime PP time. There’s games where i watch and think he would be better off on a last place team getting 25 mins/night instead of Winnipeg where if a guy like Savoie is “on” he gets more ice time at the expense of others on the team.

He's a project. I anticipate he will spend 3-4 years in the NCAA coupled with at least one year in the minors.

Lutz sure looks like a player when he skates, but another injury is not good...there are those players that just can't stay healthy and I hope he's not one of those, but sure looks that way.
I know he is a long ways off, but you think he will spend four years at NCAA? I thought two, three at the most before playing in the AHL.

Yeah, he won't play 4...I thought for sure he'd sign next year and begin his AHL career...I see him as the Fischer replacement, 3rd-4th line RW.

He’s already played one. This is year 2. Maybe he leaves early. I suspect he earns a degree.

Bensen played a couple of games with Geekie but most recently has been playing w Savoie. Bensen is going to go top 10.

If u have time. Take it. Get the degree. Play a to. Of minutes. Establish yourself as a dominant player in NcAA. Make the playoffs.

I don’t know if he’s ready defensively, but nice for him to get a promotion. This may be 5 mins a game situation.

Played 9:53 and had an assist. Surprising for sure.

Gotta be honest, I'm disappointed at the soft production to date from both Cooley & Geekie. I think both should be over the 1.4ppg mark to validate their draft position.
Here's hoping we can land Fantilli who is absolutely crushing the NCAAs at the moment with 6gp 5goals 10assists 15pts
Duda/Matikka seem to be the only ones doing great...but that is it for this year's crop of draftees.

Geekie is actually playing very well. He is close to a 50 goal pace right now. I would encourage you to watch him play. HIs assists are lower than expected. He is playing with Hands of Stone Tyson Nash's kid. That hasn't helped.
