Solid progress this year for Kapanen. Coming into the season I didn't have much hope for him, but he hasn't even turned 20 yet and he's become much more relied upon by his team as time has gone on. Maybe he can continue to build on it next season and who knows, maybe we still get a bottom 6 C out of him.

Will be interesting to see what he can do with a second year in Liiga. Point/game #1C?

Roy and Kidney are flashier but I think Kapanen has a better chance than them at a long NHL career. He's a solid 2-way player, wins face-offs and does all the little things that coaches love.

Peterborough(Beck) and Kitchener(Mesar) both won their first games of the playoffs. Only point between the 2 players was an assist by Beck on an empty net goal though lol. I'm hoping Kitchener sweeps Windsor and Wright in round 1:laugh:
