That would suck. The only two teams im comfortable drafting Bedard are the Avs and Buffalo.
Buffalo have more than enough good prospects. Also with Thompson, Cozens and Mittelstadt they are fine at C.

I won't mind if the Yotes get him. If they are going to stay in Arizona that franchise needs something positive to happen to them. It would be like the first one in their 30 year history or something.

This meme is gonna be evergreen this season

I swear he did this exact same thing in the AHL lol that kid is so talented.
He’s a rare combo of extreme talent, cockiness to think he can pull anything off, and completely unfazed in his confidence if it doesn’t work. I don’t think he’ll ever be the best player or most prolific scorer… but I think you can make a case he’s the most electrifying player. He tries things other don’t even dream of or don’t want to take the punishment of trying. To me, it is a breath of fresh air in a stuffy league.

Found a cool article on NHL franchise valuations that had a neat interactive model of how their valuations break down. The Avs are between the Ducks and Jets as far as team valuations goes. We're 25th at 750M. We're up to 18th (875M) when you include team related businesses and real estate. Anyways, thought y'all might enjoy....

Insert the why can’t you be normal meme with the NHL.

Glad EK is getting a resurgence. Dude dealt with a lot and maybe he can finally get back on track.

The ego on Zegras is probably only matched by Byram

With Hextall and Cassie, this game was... an interesting experience. In Leah's defense, she screamed and scared me much less than previously, but it's pretty interesting when she just goes in a regular speaking voice: "And there you have it. The Anaheim Ducks..."

At this point, if it isn’t an Avs game (and sometimes if it is because moser drives me nuts), I have a random podcast playing instead of the announcers.

He definitely learned that from playing NHL 15, that's the cookie cutter shootout move.

Avs are small market.

Its almost as bad as the Avs allowing ROR to score a shorty on them in OT a few years ago. Almost.

I looked at the Preds record and then I noticed that Sherwood is a a regular on that team. The f*** lol. Good for Sherwood but holy Nashville embrace the rebuild and give us Granlund.
Sherwood scored the 1st goal of the NHL season and then proceeded to not score again. He will score against us though.

I have no idea how it can be possible. That guy was a black hole for us.

The biggest thing against Sturm's offense has alway been his lack of ability to finish. If that ever clicked, he was suddenly going to produce like nobody ever really expected out of him. It didn't ever really show up given his 4th line role here, but on the Sharks where he is solidly in the top 9... you're seeing more of his capabilities. One of those guys that can play higher on bad teams and produce, while on a good team... kinda sucks.

Agreed. He is good for the game. Young boys are going to watch this and then head for their own rinks knowing it is possible to pull this crazy stuff off at the highest level. When that generation gets to major junior and above look out.
