Dallas without Hintz suddenly looks totally out of sync. 2-6 after two for Flames.

But us with a million guys missing has been just a bad excuse.

IDK... they beat the Isles, lost to Rangers in OT (both 2-1 games) and have made this a game... seems like a:

I mean we could say Avs look worse with MacK back in the lineup!

Kraken 6 goals on 11 shots in the first period against the Hawks. I guess we killed the Hawks then lol.

The Devils Kings game is semi entertaining. The Devils are fun to watch but if there's a team that makes a good trade partner, it would be the Blues (if the Blues fall behind). Brandon Saad would be an excellent add for example.

Off topic but, did anyone see that 3v3 league they had this last summer? I never really heard a review of it.

He's a terrible GM and I've been saying it for years now.

IMO he’s a very good GM who—like his successor in Washington, George McPhee—has some major flaws that turn fatal for his team.

I have to give the man credit. He had to navigate an extremely tenuous and wildly unstable ownership situation his first few years on the job and was probably the primary reason hockey succeeded in very non-traditional market like Nashville. He also got royally screwed by Alexander Radulov.

His over-infatuation with grit is what I think ultimately unraveled him. At this point he’s artificially extending the window. Whether he gets a legit shot at a rebuild remains to be seen, but he’s a good GM. Sadly even the best of them can make some of the dumbest, most self-destructive of decisions.

Poile is a classic case of slow changes over time making your viewpoint outdated and antiquated. Dude was a great GM for the 2000s and as the game as progressed, he's a poor GM today who, due to his age, is trying to win a Cup before he retires and compounding his issue. I'd like to see him get a Cup, but I frankly don't believe he has any reasonable shot.

Poile is old milk and should be replaced. Somehow he does seem to have a lifetime job in Nashville, so he probably says when his GM tenure ends.
