So what about his poor IQ, poor maping of the ice and all the crap you grossly exagerated about the kid when it was only an adjustment period issue, you know, a 18 year old kid who hadnt even played 5 games at the NHL level. Frankly Im disappointed, an old man with ton of experience who could have an NHL scouting job if he wanted to you know...

18 year olds probably should not be in the NHL. Most of them, even future PPG players go back down. There's a reason for that. Slaf isn't suppose to look good rn in the big league so any development in his game is a positive. The last great rookie that had just been drafted is probably Auston Matthews and dude was 19 when he started the season after playing a full pro season at 18

I’m getting confused. Are we now sending Slaf to the AHL to build confidence or the OHL to learn humility?
