Those were two very evenly played, well-pitched games and a split was probably the just outcome.

Yeah, the team should probably have cashed in the runner in the 8th but they also got a crazy escape earlier with McGuire throwing out multiple runners in the same inning.

I've pointed this out multiple times, but apparently it needs repeating: the Jays have hit righty pitching better than they have lefties this year. The lack of a lefty bat, as nice as it would be, is not a problem at all.

They had two games where they didn't get much offense. Whatever. It happens.
