Dolis was perfectly fine in his role as a low leverage guy.

Putting him out in close games late as we seen last season, almost never ended well
My thoughts exactly. He's the last guy i would want in a high stakes inning.

The boys deserved this one. Dolis threw the game

The plus side is the Jays hung in that series the whole way. Won game 1 behind a dominant performance, battled last night but lost (wouldn't be usually happy about a 13-9 loss but the fact the Jays offense was good enough to make it interesting that's a huge plus) and then had this game in the bag and blew it.

Still lots of positives to take away and i still don't think the Sox are all that good. Their pitching got shelled in all 3 games, they were just lucky enough to come away with 2 of the 3

I don't follow the minors much (in any sport for that matter) but is there a reason why the Rays dumped a decent starter in Adames, who was blocking the best prospect in baseball and then NOT call him up?

Service time manipulation?

The guy they called up is a highly touted prospect too, and older/more experienced and having a better season.

Montoyo's expression said something there. He shook his head at Kay for falling behind with a 3-0 lead

Ben Wagner goes through the whole explanation of Walk to strikeout ratio to explain the 17 T-shirt and how they want it to be 17% or lower. Buck then completely misunderstands and used strikeout to walk difference to say Kay is at 0(3 minus 3) rather than 100%(3/3). Did he really think the Jays wanted the entire staff to have just 17 more strikeouts than walks over the course of the season?

Also I really hate Brandon Lowe.

I hate Nate Lowe (who they traded to Texas) too.

La Russa: Jays are the most disrespectful team in baseball.

Never played baseball so I don't know, but is a high fastball really that enticing to swing at? I mean it seems like 95% of hitters swing and miss at those pitches. I get that you can hit homers on them, but it happens so rarely in relation to how many swing and misses you get.
