Blue Jays have announced on twitter that the start of the game will be delayed due to weather.

If/when the game gets going, Santiago Espinal is active and making his season debut at 3B. Biggio has the day off. Jansen also back in, and Palacios starts in LF with Gurriel out.

I didn't see anything about Biggio being out of the lineup for a specific reason, so I'm hoping it's just rest. Because otherwise we know that Springer's still hurt, Teoscar is in Covid contact tracing (no word on him actually testing positive) and Gurriel left last game because he was feeling nauseous after getting vaccinated. The latter two should hopefully be short term issues along as things don't go totally sideways.

He got unlucky with the triple and made sense to walk Trout.

Yeah, that basically looked like an intentional walk on Trout.

Triple was unlucky but strike 3 on Rendon was about 6 inches inside and Jansen didn’t even try to frame it and had already thrown it back to Matz before it was called a K.
