Last two batters haven't had a pitch in the zone. Only strikes have been strikes swinging outside the zone.

Same thing I was ragging on last game - they have to go up and take advantage of a pitcher losing command by having a pitch in mind.

When the catcher catches the ball and moves his glove downward about a foot isn't that a clue that the pitch was high?

Is Saucedo coming in? Because when I said there's 6 guys in the pen better than Soria I actually wasn't including Saucedo. The only guy not included actually.

He's fine, but not sure I trust him in high leverage yet.

Should go Merryweather then Mayza.

At some point they need to try Pearson and Merryweather in high leverage situations. They are the closest thing we have to closers after Romano

Seeing the same thing two nights in a row where the Jays can't just force a pitcher to throw a strike is frustrating to say the least.

I don't see them doing Merryweather in his first MLB appearance in 5 months. I wouldn't be against it, but feels like they'll want to do something lower leverage first. Pearson absolutely.

I was just about to say this.

Let's play a game. Which Andrew is which?

The one with a A on his hat has to be Andrew Ference. The A must stand for Andrew. It's the only thing that makes logical sense :sarcasm:

edit: Wait, Heaney's name is Andrew too? I could have sworn is was something else

My father claims Kevin Smith looks like Marc-Andre Fleury when he has his batting helmet on
