These are going to be baseball games Pat

And the Jays can score runs Pat. Never count this team out - they have some guys who can flat out play baseball

You know who was like that, Buck? Derek Jeter. He was a baseball player. You just knew that when he came up to bat that he was going to get that winning hit. It didn't matter if they were down by 1 run, or 3, or 6. He was going to come through and win the game because he was a winner. That's the kind of guy I want on my team.

*breathy laugh*

Buck still insinuating that a baseball pitcher can make a ball rise from strike to out of the zone.

I'm a little bit forgiving of that because it seems that the "rise" is somewhat of an optical illusion and not just folksy accepted wisdom. But I do wish that it the truth about the physical impossibility of a real rising fastball was more widely acknowledged.

Also are they having audio issues with Buck's feed? Or is it just me? He keeps cutting out or encountering some static.

"Drew Hutchison was the Blue Jays' opening day starter in 2015. He had a good year."

5.57 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, 150 innings in 28 starts.

How could Buck think he had a good ye-

*sees the 13-5 record*

-Oh. There it is.

Even if Ray's pitch count reaches mid 90's next inning, I am leaving him in for the 8th. Assuming he is still pitching well.
