Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Well... out slaughter awaits. If the states had played back to back agaisnt a tough opponent and we had a day of rest, I'd still consider them the fav. however, it's the opposite.. we are going back to back and playing the States.. This has 7-0 written all over it! I just hope to see Hamara.

This post didn’t age well... Far from a slaughter, and secured the point needed for the quarter finals. Should have beaten Finland in regulation, I am glad that that monumental failure did not seem to affect the team mentally.
Does anyone have a clue what was the Latvia's headcoach idea to have an empty net when Belarus scored its sixth? It was 1:5 and still three minutes to play.

Happy it aged poorly! It looked like a relatively even match. Same with Finland. We've been much more competitive than I expected.

Yes they have.. they hung with the Finn's for 59 minutes. They hung with the US for 65 minutes. They beat the Germans and Swiss in exhibition. It's been a lovely tournament but Canada is molten hot and the only team that I feel we couldn't have got a close game out of in an elimination game. The Russia game is the outlier for sure.. however, no reason to believe this won't be 6-1 or so.

Russians clearly have more skilled players but haven't been that impressed with Russia's team play in this tournament. And, as usual, their defense is not good at all.
