True but I think Vegas at wing was to load up the top line with Hughes and Caufield plus they had Turcotte at 2C

Zegras started in both San Diego and Anaheim on the wing this year. The organization made a decision part way through the season to switch him to center and sent him back down to San Diego to play center before calling him up again.

Seriously though...most of these kids play center in Junior because most coaches put their best forwards at center. It doesn't mean that's where they'll play in the show. Even if they do become a 1-2 centre punch, they can play together on the PP with Zegras feeding McTavish's big shot.

I spend a lot of time down here in South America but have never put enough effort in to pull the trigger.

Did he jump off a building or something?

Yeah, not exactly something that you can just pick up on the street! Reaction to the drug itself is what I remember. Not exactly a pure or controlled process to make it so I suppose it could have been many things.

And yet again... A goalie still hasn't gone in the top 10 in a draft since Carey Price in 2005 when he went 5th

You’re from around here, no? Apparently the ownership is as meddling as it gets.

Yeah, I've felt that way ever since they hired Torts.... Like there's no way I'm believing that Mike Gillis would go for a Torts kind of guy. To me, that's an owner who saw his team get bullied in the final, and wanted to get a tougher image.

The other big clue was when Trevor linden stood up and said they are trying accelerate the process too quickly, and they should continue to focus on the youth.

Linden then ends up being pushed to the curb for not being a yes man.

Then you have benning, and while he's had alot of missteps, canucks ownership continues to keep him around. This seems like a situation where the GM is somewhat hamstrung by the owner's wishes, and then benning is there to take the heat and try to put out certain fires.

There's no other reasonable explanation for ownership to keep benning around.

Goalies are falling.
